“No one likes to hear you toot your own horn,” I was told from an early age. “It’s bad form and very unbecoming!”
If I had know then what I know now, I would have replied, “Oh, yeah? Tell that to Louis Armstrong!”
When I went into business for myself, I learned that you have to advertise, which amounts to blowing your horn rather loudly. As Thomas Jefferson said, “The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time.”
Then at our latest CoachQuest Leadership Coaching Workshop, several of our grads sat down in front of a camera and gave me some very helpful feedback. I’ve uploaded seven of their testimonial videos to a new CoachQuest Testimonials webpage.
Now, in addition to all the things I promise about how our Workshops will help you create a culture of high commitment and high performance, you can hear what leaders like you will learn, what you will take away, and the coaching tools you will be able to use every day. Not just from me but also from people who have gone through the leadership training.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and took the time to support me and my CoachQuest Leadership Coaching Workshop. It’s incredibly gratifying to know that what I share comes across and really makes a difference in people’s lives.
There’s still time to sign up for our next CoachQuest Leader-as-Coach Workshop. Who knows… you may want to star in one of our video testimonials!
