As a boomer my research into developing and managing millennials is top of mind. Sitting here in Las Vegas, I realize we need to make space for millennials’ way of working.
eagues do better than we boomers.
Here are a few questions I asked myself this morning:
- Are you working with your Gen Y’s way of blending the lines between the traditional and modern clock?
- Are you making space for life within a predetermined work schedule?
- As you reflect on managing millennials, what mindsets and behaviors do you need to change, uplift, and adapt?
And one question for millennials:
- How can you bring your boomer bosses into the new way of balancing work and life?
Perhaps the best thing to do is to simply sit down have a candid conversation about what works for you, clearly outlining that we all prefer different ways of working.
