How to use the RAMPP model for motivation.

In my 5 Drivers to Really Motivate Employees, I started discussing my RAMPP model for motivation. Now it’s time to outline the second ‘P’ in the model—Progress.

Help your managers create a cool employee experience with 4 tips to celebrate wins.

  1. Look for moments of progress. Track metrics, catch people doing things well, and thank them for moving the ball forward.
  2. Celebrate small wins. Managers are very good at rejoicing when the team achieves the big and bold goals, but celebrating milestones along the journey will keep the team inspired.
  3. Encourage team identity. Reward behavior that advances the goals of the group, rather than only each individual. Offer your team bonuses, recognition, raises, flexibility, and opportunities based on the entire group’s performance.
  4. Discuss career aspirations and support each team member’s progress towards advancing in their jobs.

Help your managers learn how to use all 5 drivers by registering them for our Motivating Employees Workshop.
